Nancy and Peter welcome to Ta Marie’s BnB, your Gozo home away from home! Merħba! A boutique BnB settled in 200+ year old traditional House of Character on one of the highest towns in Gozo with magnificent views over the seaside and valleys. We offer our guests a comfortable, luxurious, and tranquil stay with a warm personal approach. All the suits are bright, authentic, and filled with common Maltese and personal, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere of our sunny island. Whether you just want to relax and meander the streets and harbors, visit the island’s wineries, explore the local art markets, take a boat cruise, visit the many historical towns and the beautiful city of Victoria, or indeed go scuba diving, hiking or run around the island on quads, we are here at your service to advise you should you require.
We speak multiple European languages and are very apt with communicating via Google Translate when necessary for other languages and welcome every nationality at Ta Marie’s BnB. We welcome you with our unique mocktail in combination with an amuse-bouche and you will start your mornings with delicious breakfasts cooked in-house from the best seasonal local ingredients. Nancy and Peter are looking forward to hosting you in any way possible making your stay unique.
Our facilities
We made every effort to keep the design as authentic as possible, yet perfectly adapted to the necessities of a modern traveler. The BnB features include solid Maltese sandstone walls, exposed wooden beams and other local features like our blue glass windows. Enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine. Local or foreign – and some local tapas, or if you desire a dinner service at your choice. The magnificent central staircase takes you up each of 2 floors right to the sunny roof terrace, boasting the spectacular panorama of views around the island, valleys, and seaside.

Ta Marie’s is more than a bed and breakfast. First, we can arrange your transportation from and to the airport. Furthermore, we encourage you to explore our site to provide you with a full sense of what Gozo and Comino and our bed & breakfast accommodation has on offer. Guests staying with us can book a range of tours direct from our Tours page to help in planning the perfect getaway too. If you want to visit the island’s wineries, explore the local markets, take a boat cruise, visit the many historical towns and the beautiful city of Victoria, or go scuba diving, hiking, or cycling, we are at your service to advise and book should you require. The geographical location is ideal for exploring Gozo (10 min from Rabat, Marsalforn, 1/4 of the Blue Hole and Inland Sea in particular) and you will have no trouble finding a parking space nearby, which is rare in Malta and Gozo. The room size is great, every room has its own little bathroom, air conditioning and mosquito protection in front of the window. The location Zebbug is quite and a good point for visiting Gozo. I would recommend a scooter, car or ebike. Peter and Nancy do recommend good locations, trips or restaurants in Gozo for having a great stay. Next to the guest friendliness of Peter and Nancy we have to point out the really good and healthy breakfast in the morning which held is full the whole day. The swimming pool is perfect for a family of 4-6, water is clean (and cleaned regularly). The food is excellent, we received the best breakfast I remember having in a hotel/apartment. Our hosts ( I cannot refer to them as simple service providers) gave us the attention and care we expect to receive from family members and not in a hotel. Their advice and recommendations made our trip significantly better. Care for little things place Ta Marie Merhba above expectation. Thank you once again! The location is generally quiet and very easy to reach anything in Gozo from here. Very clearly perfect value/price ratio. Amazing hosts, beautiful house, delicious breakfast. From the moment I arrived I knew I’d made the right decision booking this place for the weekend. Nancy & Peter get it right from arrival. I was welcomed with warmth and attention… taken up to my room which is beautifully decorated. Then was offered to go down by the pool after I settled in for a nice glass of homemade juice and some cheese and biscuits which I enjoyed by the pool. The two breakfasts I had were delicious and plentiful. Everything is prepared there and then and they take time to explain what they have prepared. They also didn’t mind that I went down late for my breakfast; which was great since I was desperate for sleep hence my getting away and booking Ta Marie in the first place.
This house is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple wanting to experience authentic hospitality. Highly recommend Ta Marie, cant wait until I get to go again.

Overall – A beautiful place to stay for a few days. The small city of Zebbug is not a ‘party’ town and has limited restaurants. However with a 10 minutes bus ride you are in Victoria that has plenty bars and restaurants. The bus stop is 50 meters from the B&B. (tamariemerhba.com)

Such a wonderful experience and amazing hosts. We were the only guests and still they provided an impeccable service. The welcome cocktails were refreshing and elaborate, definitely something put together with care and quality ingredients. The breakfast was superior to any five star hotel we’ve been so far with a large selection of home made delicacies which alone was worth the entire stay. The house has a rooftop with a view and there are multiple chill out areas including a well kept swimming pool. The attention to details was stunning, from the way the farmhouse was converted to the perks available in the common areas including a well served medicine cabinet. The rooms were extremely clean and water pressure was great. We cannot praise and recommend more Peter and Nancy as wonderful people and hosts. (booking.com)
